Vasiliev Groove — Drummers' Show
"Rhythm in the Big City" is a contemporary stage show by Vasiliev Groove, Russia's #1 drummer.
This musical and rhythmic performance combines over 100 percussion instruments, movement, and visual effects. The show is based on rhythms created using both classical drums and everyday urban objects: metal, keys, structures, and other objects.
The program includes dynamic numbers, each dedicated to specific themes of urban life: the work rhythm, the industrial environment, and contemporary urban traffic. The show is accompanied by original soundtracks and spectacular special effects.
Vasiliev Groove constantly offer the world something new and unusual: the use of a variety of instruments—from acoustic and marching drums to cymbals, marimbas, and rain flutes—and an incredibly spectacular show with fire and lighting effects.
The fiery rhythms and beats of professional drummers are accompanied by specially created musical compositions for each number, accompanied by video footage and a light show.
An immersive theatrical experience that invites the audience to stop, listen, and discover familiar urban reality through sound, movement, and "Rhythm in the City."
